How long does composite bonding last?
This is dependent on how well you care for your teeth. Generally speaking, composite bonding can last for between 3-8 years though the resins are likely to become discoloured along the way, particularly if you enjoy copious amounts of teeth-staining food and drink.
Other factors influencing the lifespan of dental composite include:
- Your hygiene status.
- The location of the treated tooth.
- Whether or not you bite on foreign objects (ice and pencils are one of the biggest enemies of dental composite!).
