Single dental implants are the most toothlike solution for replacing gaps in your smile. Unlike dentures and bridges, implants are anchored into the jawbone and fuse together, creating a strong bond and foundation for a crown to fit over the top.

Initial Consultation
Your dentist assesses your smile to ensure you are medically fit for treatment with dental implants.

Consultation (planning and prep)
Your dentist will take digital iTero scans of your teeth, a CBCT scan to gain a 360-degree image of your mouth and jaw, and X-rays and clinical photos.
This information provides your dentist with vital information about the anatomy of your jawbone. Using this information, they can determine the optimal site for maximising the success of implant placement.
Implant Fitting
The implant is fitted under local anaesthetic. A healing period will then commence (lasting 3-6 months on average). We will ask that you attend regular review appointments to have your implant and jaw checked over during the healing period. Your dentist will advise on best practices for caring for your implant and oral health during this time.
Crown Placement
A second dental impression is taken once your jaw has healed. This is sent to our dental technician, who creates the bespoke crown which will sit firmly over the top of your implant.

These treatments can replace non-implant-supported dentures and bridges and be used to replace a full set of teeth in patients who have either lost all of their teeth or require a full tooth extraction.
